What are the consequences of a disempowered workforce?

The Care Quality Commission has taken urgent action to protect people at Kent care home, after finding “Leaders at this service did not create an environment where staff felt empowered to raise concerns, and a lack of good processes, especially around safeguarding referrals, meant people were not protected from harm and abuse".


A disempowered workforce can be extremely damaging to your brand and have disastrous consequences.


If the staff at this Kent care home felt empowered to speak out and improve their processes, then this could have been avoided!
